ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a well-experienced, capable, and driven Quantity Surveyor to join the team on my client’s flagship scheme in Ealing to run one of the phases, a 32-story tower which is due to go to the site in the next few weeks and will require a full-time QS with experience of working on similar projects for a similar business to operate at project level, whilst reporting into a highly experienced Senior QS. They are seeking a commercially astute, experienced professional with a long-term career within the business and are willing to pay above market rate to secure this individual.
In this role, the successful candidate will take the lead of the sizeable project and will be expected to run the project, working closely with the Senior QS. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an up-and-coming, diverse organisation that can offer you the opportunity to work on a wide range of unique and desirable projects for years to come. The successful individual will possess the desire to achieve results through hard work and our client will consider those who aspire to this level on individual merit and have proven success in previous roles.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The salary will be dependent on the individual’s level of experience and is not set in stone. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary of between £60,000 – £70,000 depending on the individual’s level – plus a generous benefits package. The company encourages promotion for candidates that are enthusiastic and competent. Employees will be promoted at a rate that is comfortable for their abilities rather than within a set company structure. This encourages the strengths and successes of the company and each individual.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience working as a QS within a main contractor or consultancy is essential. The perfect candidate will be degree qualified and must be trustworthy, reliable and conscientious, and keen to progress their career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential along with a desire to bed into the business and progress up the ranks.
