Working with clients such as TSL, Mercury Engineering, and Winthrop Technologies, they have pipeline secured for the coming years on massive data centre schemes. I’ve known both the MD’s of these businesses for 10+ years and can give a detailed account of the company set-ups and cultures to anyone interested in these roles. They cover everything from civil related roadworks through to foundations and drainage, and with long-term relationships, they always have a steady amount of work coming through.
ABOUT THE ROLE
I am looking for experienced groundwork Quantity Surveyors / Senior Quantity Surveyors for three positions in Europe. Accommodation, travel, expenses, and other benefits are included, and the initial positions will be based in Helsinki, Finland, and Belgium. Working on large data centre projects, you’ll have the opportunity to see some fantastic countries and cities, while gaining excellent experience in cutting-edge environments. Your position in the business will report directly to the commercial director, and you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of groundwork packages from project award through to final account. There is room for progression within these businesses, and you can be confident in your employer as they are leading names in this sector. We are looking for career-focused individuals who want the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team that is working on excellent projects across Europe.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful, individuals need to have worked for groundwork subcontractors as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS. Your hard work will be rewarded, and opportunity will be there, but this previous experience in this sector is a must.
Due to the technical nature of the position, it is also crucial that all applicants are degree-qualified in quantity surveying or commercial management. And due to the location of our client’s work, we can only consider EU or Irish passport holders, as we cannot accommodate the VISA process associated with UK citizens working in Europe.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
For this opportunity, I am targeting anyone looking to earn between £70,000 and £110,000 per annum. This bracket is flexible, and starting figures will be based on experience and previous history, but in addition to this, our client is offering a comprehensive package including accommodation, flights, travel costs, living allowance, and bonuses. If you would prefer a self-employed payment method, we can consider this, including Limited Company setups. But aside from the earning potential, this opportunity really does offer the right person an exciting career option with the view to joining a great team and working with them towards the future.
