ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to planned growth, we are looking to recruit an established or senior recruiter who is looking for a new role for our Civil Engineering side of the business. Existing recruiters will be expected to have a certain level of recruitment experience within the construction sector and will be able to offer details on previous successes or achievements. Senior recruiters will be able to bring new clients to the business or will have existing points of contact within clients we already work with. Our current clients across the business are based throughout the UK, from Southampton to Scotland, and in this role, you will be expected to deal with a variety of individuals at all levels of these organisations, placing candidates with salaries from £50k up to and beyond £200k per annum (management through to board directorship level).
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
Remuneration will be extremely generous. We base salaries on the experience and the abilities of each individual, but offer beyond the typical level in this industry. You can expect a basic salary from £30,000 up to £45,000 per annum. You will also be paid commission on all placements you make, increasing your yearly earnings significantly with scales up to 35% of what you bill. Consultants on target can easily add £20,000 to £60,000 per annum to their salaries in the first few years alone. In addition to basic salary and commission, we offer generous bonuses, mobile phones, laptops and more to consultants who show they can succeed.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a level of recruitment experience, whether that is in freelance or permanent recruitment. To be successful in recruitment, you will need to have a confident personality and a willingness to work with a variety of people. You will also need to be driven and highly motivated to work hard to gain the success and financial gain this position can offer. Time management and personal drive are key factors in making this role work. Previous knowledge of the construction sector and ideally civil engineering markets (i.e. utilities, infrastructure, and rail) is desired for candidates looking for a senior consultant position.
