Our client is an international business that operates across not only the UK, but Europe and Australia too. They specialise in concrete repairs through various strengthening and remediation methods and offer a variety of services to this end. With a strong presence overseas and as part of a larger group, they are now expanding their network within the UK market. Offices are based in London with projects also in the capital but also around other major cities across the country.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Business Development Manager for the UK division of this business, it will be your responsibility for all business development activities required to enable continued work for the business, as well as growth in both revenue and profit. The role includes marketing, lead generation, establishment and maintenance of relationships, provision of competitive engineering solutions, calculation of quantities, negotiation of contracts, and monitoring of project progress.

REQUIREMENTS

I am keen to talk with anyone who is currently in a sales-based role working for suppliers within this field (such as Sika) or individuals who cover such responsibilities while working for contractors who offer concrete repairs. Due to the nature of this position and the specialist works involved, it is crucial you have a strong understanding of the various methods involved, such as carbon fiber strengthening and crack injection techniques, as well as a sales capability to be able to pitch this business and their products to the various contractors in the field. I need someone who has an established connection list and who understands the work involved that can go out and bring opportunities to the table for this business.
