Our client is a market leader in design, manufacturing and installation of specialist external construction packages such as Solar Shading, Screening, Balconies, Balustrading and bespoke cladding and glazing systems who have delivered a variety of projects across multiple sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Education, Health and Leisure. This company have developed reputable name within both London and Texas working with a range of high profile clients, generating a healthy turnover circa £20m Million and a solid order book in both the UK and US Contracts.

 

 

 

 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

About the Role:
As a Sales Manager, you will have a strong background in sales and strong technical knowledge of architectural cladding systems , along with extensive experience in negotiated contracts. You will develop business from both Main Contractors and Architects in both the UK and United States, with both existing and new clients.

You’ll be required to work from both their Head Office in Hertfordshire, However a large percentage of the role will be out on the road generating new business and meeting with potential clients.

whilst visiting the US every month which will more than likely be weekly visits . Fully expensed.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong customer relationships within the built environment.
• Ability to spot opportunities and maximize their value.
• High levels of organizational skills, including updating customer records.
• An extensive network of relevant industry contacts that can generate projects.
• Understanding of the need to hit the ground running.
• Possessing high levels of initiative while working as a positive contributor to the wider team.
• In-depth understanding of the Design & Build sector.

 

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

Rewards and Benefits:
For the suitable candidate, my client is offering a base salary of £70,000 – £85,000 plus an uncapped commission structure.

These include Facades, Re-Cladding, Brickwork, Stonework, Dry Lining, Carpentry & Joinery, and Firestopping. The team proudly operates nationally and has broad market coverage. We work with a variety of clients in each sector from market leaders to SMEs and family-owned businesses. Outside work, I regularly train for Triathlon and Ironman events but also enjoy a good night out! I am a proud Watford FC season ticket holder and coach my son’s football team on the weekend. Other interests include live music/going to gigs, playing snooker and getting away with the family.
