ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting a proactive and commercially astute Estimator to support continued growth across fit-out and refurbishment projects in the UK. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the Estimator will play a pivotal role in accurately assessing project costs, managing tender submissions, and contributing to commercially successful bids that align with client expectations and business objectives. This role demands excellent technical comprehension, strong commercial insight, and outstanding organisation—working on projects ranging from complex refurbishments to high-end fit-outs nationwide.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for fit-out and refurbishment projects, from early tender through to final pricing controls
Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify cost drivers and risk exposure
Undertake accurate take-offs and quantify materials, labour, plant, and subcontractor packages
Liaise with designers, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to gather and validate pricing inputs
Issue subcontractor enquiries, evaluate returns, and manage commercial clarifications
Maintain detailed estimate records, cost models, and version controls for audit-ready submissions
Contribute to bid strategy discussions and commercial value engineering opportunities
Ensure compliance with commercial procedures, internal standards, and risk management requirements
Support the negotiation of subcontractor and supplier packages where required
Collaborate closely with project delivery and commercial teams to refine pricing assumptions and post-award benchmarking

This Estimator position is ideal for a commercially focused professional with proven experience in construction or fit-out estimating, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure within fast-paced tender cycles.
