ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and employees at the depot in Ipswich. You will need to ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently, and that quality standards are met.
You must have a strong understanding of the plant’s machinery, equipment, and processes. You will work closely with maintenance and repair personnel to keep the plant running at peak efficiency and minimize downtime. Experience in asphalt is preferable and you will need to be flexible in terms of hours as these will be based around the customer.
The plant supervisor also plays a critical role in managing and motivating plant employees and you will be overseeing a team of 6 people. You will be responsible for scheduling and assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and feedback to help employees improve their skills and meet production targets.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will be based in or near Ipswich and will have 5 years experience in a heavy manufacturing/quarry background in a supervisory position.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS

You’ll be rewarded with a very competitive salary ranging from £28,000 – £30,000.
It’s important to note that you’ll also get a company van which will be electric. You will also get 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays as well as a yearly annual raise.
