ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a large main contractor who focus on delivering modular solutions to residential building requirements across the UK. Based in West London, this exciting, privately owned business has grown rapidly since its inception, being built on a project-by-project basis by industry experts who have come from mixed backgrounds including top-tier main contactors and specialist builders alike. As the business has grown, so has the team, and they have recently made a couple of major appointments, drawing in senior industry professionals from rival businesses with their forward-thinking business model and fast-moving major projects. They have numerous live projects and several big plans in the pipeline all of which are supported by an off-site factory where their modular units are built. With the order book for 2023 already full, their future looks bright and stable and with this, in mind they are looking to continue their sustained growth by building in a few new members of the team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced senior level Project Manager to take control of a £100m+ new build modular residential project in Northwest London. This project is underway already, with 1 of the phases already complete, but with more phases to go the project needs a competent, client facing PM to manage the progress of this monster job.
This project requires a Project Manager with experience on similar projects who can manage the programme, working under a highly experienced Construction Director and alongside a full site team. The role will require a manager who is able to manage a project of this spec with little or no supervision, utilising previous experience to get this job over the line on time and on budget with a focus on quality of delivery and health & safety. This project will act as a steppingstone into the business for the right individual, with internal promotion and long term progression a real focus for this company.
The successful Project Manager will be client facing, have very good extensive experience in managing major residential projects and capable of dealing with stakeholders at the top level.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary starting from £100,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have direct and relatable industry experience. Experience of Project Management is a must, ideally with experience of working on large residential projects. The preferred candidate would have had experience at a top-level main contractor and looking for a permanent and long term role.
