ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Project Manager to join a national, well-established, General Contractor within one of their smaller offices. This means you’ll have a national reputation, but you will be treated as a name, not a number, there’s also the opportunity to help a division grow. The successful candidate will be involved in leading and managing banking, healthcare, and retail construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to estimates, project scope, budget, and schedule. The projects you will be working on will range from $20M – $40M. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to establish project objectives, design requirements, and construction methodologies. You will need to develop and implement detailed project plans, including procurement strategies, resource allocation, and risk management plans. They deal with large, private organizations such as Santander, JP Morgan Chase & Capital One.

REQUIREMENTS

I am looking for someone who has at least 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager for General Contractors or Construction Management firms based in North Carolina. It’s a requirement that you hold strong stability throughout your resume, spending on average 4 years per company you’ve worked for. My client is going to put time and investment in you, so they don’t want someone who jumps from job to job, all the time. Experience working on construction projects within the financial, healthcare and retail sectors is important as well as a Bachelor of Science in a Civil Engineering/Construction related field.
