A fantastic opportunity available for a proven Projects Manager within Facades industry to join this forward thinking, quality focused, specialist envelope contractor.

Based in Bucks, Our client is a multi-disciplined Sub-Contractor specializing in, Façade systems, Dry Lining, Decorating, Tiling and Fire stopping who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including, High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health

Throughout their 20-year establishment they’ve spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Kier, Galliford Try, ISG, Multiplex and McLaren. They currently have an annual turnover of pushing £30m and our clients’ prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £10m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

About the Opportunity:

Due to successful tendering and our client striving for business growth, there’s a new opening for an experienced Contracts Manager within their Facades division. The individual will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects with packages typically valuing between £1m to £10m, which can be a variety of recladding schemes and new build façade packages.

You’ll be working closely alongside the Managing Director and Operations Manager to ensure each project is programmed and delivered to the highest standards by overseeing procurement, quality, budget control and client management.

The role will be located across various sites, which are predominately in London and Home Counties, with occasional meeting at their Head Office in Bourne End.

  • Working alongside reconstruction teams (Design, and Tendering)
  • Programming / planning
  • Troubleshooting any design and installation issues
  • Reporting to Director
  • Client liaison
  • Overseeing project Teams
  • Managing programs from A-Z
  • Working closely with Commercial and Procurement teams.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within A Senior Project Management or Contacts Management position with working with a Facades specialist. Degree qualified or Progressive trade background. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player.  A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.

You will be well rewarded for your hard work with a remuneration package that will correspond to the individuals experience and skills.  The guideline basic salary is £60,000 – £80,000 With Travel however this will be dependent upon the specific skills and experience of each individual.

Outside work, I regularly train for Triathlon and Ironman events but also enjoy a good night out! I am a proud Watford FC season ticket holder and coach my son’s football team on the weekend. Other interests include live music/going to gigs, playing snooker and getting away with the family.
