Our client is seeking an up-and-coming, highly motivated, and intelligent Quantity Surveyor to join the growing home counties division of this high-flying contractor. With plenty of projects live and in the pipeline, this company is looking to secure a number 1 QS to manage the commercials of small to mid-size fit-out and build projects. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced commercial manager on a fast track, high-spec fit-out projects, as well as refurbishment and new build projects.

The successful candidate should have a degree and a couple of years’ experience with a well-established contractor. They will have experience in managing fit-out projects from £1m – £20m and be proven in working to tight cost schedules on high-profile projects. This job will offer an opportunity for progression into a senior role once their first project completes.

They should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The successful candidate will be a team player who is also able to work independently when required.
