ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a £10m complex new build & refurbishment project in Oxford as part of a dedicated project team. The successful candidate will be based on site with the opportunity to work in the office or from home for a portion of the week, working closely with the Project Manager and visiting Commercial Manager. This is an intermediate level role that would suit a degree-qualified candidate with several years of experience in the QS role. The role involves managing small jobs as a number 1, but this is not a requirement. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the QS role and be able to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least five years of experience working as a QS within a main contractor. They will be degree-qualified and have experience working on high-spec residential projects, although this is not essential. The successful candidate must be trustworthy, reliable, and conscientious, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and develop. A consistent employment record is essential, with at least two years at each employer.
