ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a drylining sub-contractor with over 30 years of heritage within the UK. They specialize in the supply and installation of all types of drylining, partitions, and suspended ceiling systems. They pride themselves on their ability to provide their customers with the highest quality of service. Working with some of the best developers and main contractors in the UK such as Canary Wharf contractors and Multiplex they are an established name within their sector and are highly respected industry name.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Director and be responsible for managing multiple projects. You will be preparing tender and contract documents including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client whilst establishing their requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. You’ll perform risk and value management and cost control whilst advising on procurement strategy. Allocation of work to subcontractors, submitting valuations and finals accounts will also be expected.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will need proven 5 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and to be degree qualified is preferred. You must be highly motivated individual and be a strong team player. Most of importantly you will need to be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and be keen to progress your career.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
You will be rewarded with a competitive salary between £55,000 and £75,000 based on experience. A bonus scheme is in place and travel expenses will be covered. You’ll have bank holidays off and can be enrolled in a company pension.
