ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a subdivision of a well-respected main contractor with a turnover of £90 million per annum. This part of the business is currently turning over £10M per annum and works on technical, complex, private projects that involve deep drainage, groundworks, shafts & headings, S278 works, and multi-utility diversions and have a really impressive management team in place, a management team with a great amount of experience within Civil Engineering, working for some brilliant companies within the UK Civil Engineering industry, allowing you to learn from some of the best. They also have some strong relationships with some of the most respected blue-chip contractors worldwide, such as Mace, Berkley & Multiplex. The projects that they work on will range from £20,000 – £7M.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working on groundworks, wastewater infrastructure, and multi-utility infrastructure projects across London and the Home Counties. The role is predominantly delivery-focused, making sure you’re overseeing and managing the quality of the work as well as sticking to the programme of work. You will be involved in reviewing Project requirements and production of the Temporary Works Design brief, Technical and buildability reviews of Temporary Works Designs as well as Quality Control of Temporary Works installation and required modifications, including production of design registers and required permits.

Successful candidates will be working within a team with a multitude of experience in Civil Engineering, Water, and Utilities, which allowed the potential to improve your technical capabilities and develop your commercial capabilities. Projects valued between £5,000 and £7 million, which allows an opportunity to work on small and medium-sized packages.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates ideally will require to have experience in utilities, preferably wastewater. Having previous experience working on street works (NRSWA) qualification, along with a full clean driving license to allow mobility around the sites. It is also essential you have a TWC ticket. Along with having experience running gangs to the specific deadlines provided by the authorise. Your work history needs to be stable; ideally working at previous companies for 3 years or more.
