Annual Christmas Trip to visit Bibic!

It’s now a yearly tradition to buy Christmas presents for the children who visit bibic. (For more information about bibic and why we support them, please click here.)

Each year, we work closely with the team at bibic to ensure the gifts we get would not only be fun for the children to use but also benefit their therapy sessions. And, hopefully, make a positive difference in the time the children spend at the charity. This year, we headed down on 14th December and received a warm welcome from the team. We got to spend some time with a couple of children who happily opened all the gifts on bibic’s behalf. They did a fantastic job and excitedly took their favourites away to play with straight away. 

At the top of bibic’s wishlist were Android tablets. Thanks to our bargain hunter office manager who made good use of the black-friday sales, we were able to fit three devices into the budget! The Android tablets were much needed due to Apple discountinuing a therapy app used in many sessions that explores how children take in and process sounds – the therapists were very excited to open these! We also sourced body socks, didi cars, vibrating cushions and some target practice games. 

We had a wonderful day. To once again see what they do first-hand and the impact it has, we are honoured to help where we can with such an inspiring charity. We look forward to continuing working with them in 2024.
