ABOUT THE ROLE

The company described above is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager to join their team to lead one of a bunch of newly won projects. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

 

The construction manager will be responsible for managing a team of workers and subcontractors, coordinating their activities to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications. They will also work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage resources to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met. To be successful in this role, the construction manager should have a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should also have experience working on both residential and commercial projects and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, either on residential or commercial projects with a stable career history with no more than a handful of previous employers. They will have excellent knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and contract management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. A relevant degree or professional qualification is desirable, as is a valid CSCS card.
