ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a family owned fit-out company specialising in high-end retail, residential and commercial projects who has been in business for the last 40 years. With a team of close to 100 employees, including their own in-house joinery manufacturing division, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality and craftmanship. Recent clients include Nandos, West Ham United Football Club, HSBC and Barclays. They are a member of British Council for Offices (BCO) and the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS). As a company which has seen exceptional growth recently, they are looking for a Project Design Manager to join their team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Project Design Manager, you will work with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and objectives. You will also, develop and manage project design plans, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards, while you utilize your solid works design knowledge to create detailed and accurate project designs. This role will also involve overseeing joinery production to meet quality standards, reviewing and approving designs, coordinating with manufacturing for timely delivery, conducting site visits for progress and compliance, offering technical guidance to resolve challenges, managing project documents, staying updated on industry trends, and nurturing client relationships for satisfaction and repeat business. My client is offering Hybrid working between their head offices in Romford and your home office.
REQUIREMENTS
My client is seeking an accomplished Project Design Manager with a proven track record, ideally in prestigious high-end retail, residential, and commercial ventures. Your proficiency in joinery manufacturing processes and techniques will be pivotal. Mastery of SolidWorks and AutoCAD software is essential. Your firm grasp of construction and project management principles is expected. Your adept organizational skills and time management, coupled with the ability to adeptly juggle priorities, are crucial. Your exceptional eye for detail and unwavering precision will be put to good use. Stellar communication and interpersonal talents are a must. Your knack for collaborative teamwork is vital. REWARDS AND BENEFITS
My client is offering a salary of £65,000 – £75,000. Alongside this, you will get a pension, healthcare, monthly team social events and quarterly bonus incentives.
