ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is currently seeking a Construction Director to oversee a £40m super-prime residential project near Egham. Given the project’s size and scope, they require a full-time Project Director dedicated solely to this endeavor, responsible for overseeing all construction activities. This individual will have absolute authority over the project, seeing it through to completion and taking charge of the master programme, quality, health and safety, and profit and loss.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating as a Project Director at a corporate level, engaging with senior stakeholders from various backgrounds. They should also have prior experience as a number one Project Manager on similar projects and be willing to remain actively involved in the project. The successful professional will execute the designated projects, adhering to the agreed programme while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environmental considerations, quality, and financial performance as stipulated by the client and the company.
Candidates must possess extensive industry experience directly related to high-spec hotels and residential projects, with a strong commercial focus. They should possess effective management and motivational skills to lead their team successfully. Contractual knowledge is crucial to identify risks and opportunities with clients and subcontractors, as well as the ability to plan and manage construction works, identifying key interfaces, risks, and opportunities throughout the process.
Experience in leading projects of similar type and scale is a prerequisite, accompanied by a stable career history within reputable companies.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s industry exposure and relevant project experience. The company offers excellent opportunities and a basic salary ranging from £100,000 to £110,000. The package also includes various benefits related to travel and healthcare.
