My client is well established, they’ve been trading for over 25 years and are part of one of the largest mechanical and engineering companies in the world. They have offices across North America including New York City and Utah, some of the clients that they deal with include Bank of NY Mellon, Verizon, Google, Bloomberg, Barclays Capital, Major League Baseball, Con-Edison, Emblem Health, Spotify, Twitter, HSBC, and eBay. The services they offer include Engineering Services, New Construction, Energy Retrofit, Electrical Power Monitoring Facilities, and Service & Maintenance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

My client is seeking a Building Management Systems (BMS) Project Manager to supervise and coordinate the installation of BAS / BMS Systems projects in a construction environment. The individual must be capable of supervising installation subcontractors and coordinating related construction activities.

Your role will involve the following:

  • You will need to coordinate and manage multiple automation installation projects while remaining organized.
  • Maintain project accounting and contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with members of the company, clients, subcontractors, and other contacts.
  • Anticipate and be able to meet short and/or unpredictable deadlines.
  • Understand and conform to company policies and procedures.
  • Recognize and utilize the company’s resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Plan, organize, and carry out assigned job responsibilities within established time parameters.

REQUIREMENTS

I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent industry experience. I am also looking for someone who holds strong stability on their resume, working for each company they’ve worked t for at least 3 years.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

You will be rewarded with an impressive salary ranging in value between $80,000 – $110,000 (depending on experience) + a brilliant benefits package. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability income, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401(k) Savings Plans, and employee assistance and wellness programs.
