My client is a leading fit-out and refurbishment construction company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our dynamic team. With a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction, we are revolutionizing the construction industry.



  • Process and manage purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
  • Maintain supplier accounts, including reviewing and reconciling statements. By closely monitoring accounts, you will help ensure efficient payment processes and build strong relationships with our valued suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issues. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and suppliers to quickly resolve any issues and maintain smooth operations.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations. Your expertise in financial processes will contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
  • Support the finance team in various administrative tasks and projects as required. Your versatile skill set and willingness to go above and beyond will make you an invaluable asset to the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to purchase ledger functions. Your commitment to continuous learning will ensure that our processes remain compliant and efficient.


  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role, preferably within the construction industry. Your previous experience will enable you to hit the ground running and contribute to our fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes and principles. Your knowledge and expertise in financial processes will help us maintain accurate and transparent records.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the integrity of our financial data.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel. Your technical skills will enable you to effectively manage and analyze data, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external suppliers is essential in resolving any issues and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure will contribute to the smooth functioning of our finance department.
