ABOUT THE ROLE

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team, to run a £30 million 1 off-house in Slough. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate all aspects of the construction process, from planning and scheduling to on-site supervision and quality control.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all site activities, including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and senior management.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction or a related field (e.g., degree or HNC/HND).
