ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager join their team to take a lead on one of a selection of newly won projects in Oxfordshire, ranging from £2m to £10m including various super prime residential projects in and to the south of Oxford, work across the oxford colleges framework and a hospitality refurbishment project. All these projects are in Oxford or to the south of Oxfordshire, which is already where this company are light on experienced Site Managers, making it an idea place for them to hire someone who is capable and will offer this person an excellent opportunity to establish themselves as an essential staff member.
The company require their Site Managers to have a strong history of managing residential or heritage projects of a high standard from inception through to completion working for a main contractor. Their focus will be the management of sub-contractors, upkeep of construction process and program and overall responsibility for H&S on site.
This role could suit someone who is happy at Site management level, who has been there and done the role and loves running sites, or someone who is rapidly climbing the ranks and wants to join a company that will offer them additional experience before progressing up into a Project Management role.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary around £50,000 – £65,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have direct and relatable industry experience. Experience of Site Manager is a must, ideally with experience of working on high spec new build & refurbishment projects. The preferred candidate would have had experience at a top-level main contractor and looking for a permanent and long-term role.
