In summary. My client is a well-respected and established construction company that has played an important role in shaping the built environment in their region.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Small Works Site Manager to join their Special Projects Division, managing high volume construction projects in and around Oxfordshire with values from £100k up to £1m. Projects will vary massively, but will mainly be focussed on small education and residential projects for repeat clients of this well-established regional contractor. Day to day management of the project is the main focus, managing sub-contractors, updating the programme and maintaining a clean and tidy site & excellent health and safety standards. Due to the sheer volume of projects and the amount of work this division is picking up, this role could suit someone who is currently a working foreman who is happy picking up a tool and getting their hands dirty, or someone who is established as a Site Manager and is more interested in managing larger projects. The position will also have opportunity for people to train and progress into a Contacts Manager if that is of interest.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
The company offers a competitive salary package, ranging from £50,000 – £60,000, as well as a range of benefits and rewards, including a pension plan, private healthcare, and life insurance. They also provide opportunities for career development and training, as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of successfully managing small-scale construction projects, preferably in a similar fast paced environment. They should have a stable career history with no more than a handful of previous employers. They will have excellent knowledge of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and the ability ti work on and update construction programmes. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. A relevant degree or professional qualification is desirable, but not essential.

I have used Cityscape Recruitment multiple times over the last 5 years. Very pleasant to deal with and all candidates put forward for interview are well suited to the position and well vetted by the team, so there is no time wasted with unsuitable applicants. I would highly recommend Cityscape. I intend to use them again in the future should any vacancies become available.
Operations Director,

The Cityscape Recruitment team has always been great to deal with. Always ready to listen to our needs and requirements, a quality some recruiters do not appreciate or have, then advising where they can assist in our staff procurement. We look forward to working with Laura and Cityscape in the coming years.
